June 10,
2013 today is the second class for study curriculum and learning management in
English. So, today, teacher explains about Scoring rubrics. Scoring rubric is a
scoring tool that explicitly represents the performance expectations for an
assignment or piece of work. Then, my friend discuss about method in English three
methods. There are Belief, Task Based Learning and Project Based Learning.
First,
Belief is believe that teacher can teach students to understand in lesson.
Willime and Bader divided 3 topic are (1) about language learning, (2) about
learners, and (3) about themselves as language teachers. Belief will
connect between teacher and students. Teachers understand learners and find
ways for teach learners to understand the content.
The
second, Task Based Learning is teaching and learning through the activities or
tasks. It is the communicative approach. This method will help student to
practice their abilities; listening, speaking, reading and writing.
The
last, Project based learning is focused on student-centered learning.
Project-based learning emphasizes learning activities that are long-term. This
method learner cans operation real for study of information, survey, research
and experiment. It helps student for understanding in concept of their project
or their topic. Teachers are motivated, advice and consulting to students.
To sum
up, there are three important methods for English teacher. Although , I not get
in some content, I will try to review them. I believe I can apply them to teach
students in classroom in the future.
