Learning Log >> Inside the classroom #5

July 1, 2013, today is the fifth class for study curriculum English teaching management. I learnt how to do lesson plan. There are five words that the teacher taught.
First, Goals or Aims are generally thought to encompass the lesson as a whole. Goals or Aims broadly focuses on what you plan to do and achieve with your students in a lesson. Structure is : SS+will able to V1+in micro skills.
Second, are written in terms of learning outcomes: What do you want your students to learn as a result of the lesson?  Evaluation use scoring rubrics in evaluate work and presentation. Objective must write clear, specific, and concise.
Third, Assessment and Evaluation. Assessment is the process of gathering, analyzing, interpreting and using information about students' progress and achievement to improve teaching and learning. Evaluation is the process of determining the value or worth of a program, course, or other initiative, toward the ultimate goal of making decisions about adopting, rejecting, or revising the innovation
Finally, Learning outcome is the student’s result of learning. The teacher should process learning outcome that during or end of lesson. An important thing that teacher should remember is "Input + 1 = comprehensible input". Input means background knowledge of the students, 1 means knowledge from teacher.
To sum up, lesson plan includes aims, objectives, assessment or evaluation and leaning outcome. Lesson plan should clearly outline the exact aims and objectives of your lesson, so that you can clearly identify the learning goals for your students during a lesson. All the goals of a lesson plan should be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-appropriate.
